On motion of Mr. Harris,

The rules were suspended to enable him to bring in a bill to be
entitled, an act relative to the establishment of a Light House on
Sandy Point in Anne Arundel county, and to cede to the United
States the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland into and over a
site for the same;

Which was referred to Messrs. Harris, Dorsey and Waters.

Also, leave to bring in a bill entitled, an act relative to the es-
tablishment of a Light House on Drum Point in Calvert county,
and to cede to the United States, the jurisdiction of the State of
Maryland into and over a site for the same;

Which was referred to Mr. Harris and the Calvert county del-
egation.

Also leave to bring in a bill entitled, an act relative to the es-
tablishment of a Light House on Love Point on Kent Island in
Queen Anne's county, and to cede to the United States the juris-
diction of the State of Maryland into and over a site for the same;

Which was referred to Messrs. Harris, Goldsborough and Grif-
fith.

On motion of Mr. Davis,
The rules were suspended to enable him to introduce a bill en-
titled, an act to refund a sum of money paid erroneously into the
Treasury by Isaac Skinner.                               

On motion of Mr. Silver,                       

The rules were suspended to enable him to submit the follow-
ing order:

Ordered, that the keeper of the hall and lamp lighter be and are
allowed two dollars per day during the session for their services.
