strike out the word 'twenty' and insert in lieu thereof the
word 'forty. '" [Which was read and adopted. ]

last line of Section 1, add the following: 'provided any per-
son desiring to bring a suit before any justice of the peace of
Prince George's county, who may make oath in writing that
he is unable to pay the costs provided for herein and has no
property or assets upon which he can borrow the same, then
in that event the justice shall make an order allowing said
suit to be filed without prepayment of costs as herein pro-
vided. "7 [Which was read and adopted. ] [Which favorable
report was adopted, which was read the second time. ]

HOUSE BILL No. 538, BY MR. VAN HORN.

SUBJECT: BRENTWOOD — PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY.

'Maryland., ' strike out the period and insert in lieu thereof a
comma and add these words: 'and to provide for the submis-
sion of this question to the qualified voters of said town for
