title 'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-title 'Mineral Waters,
Porter and Other Beverages, ' as amended by Chapter 47 of
the Acts of 1906, as amended by Chapter 368 of the Acts of
1908 and codified as Sections 331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337,
338, 339, 340 and 341 of Article 27 of the Code of Public
General Laws of 1914, and by re-enacting, with amendments,
Sections 331, 332, 333, 335, ' 336, 337, 338 and 340, and by
adding three new sections thereto, the first to follow Section
331, as re-enacted, and to be known as Section 331-A; the
second to follow Section 333, as re-enacted, and to be known
as Section 334; and the third to follow Section 338, as re-
enacted, and to be known as Section 339 of said Article. "
[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also House Bill No. 135, entitled "An Act to amend Article
3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, as repealed
and re-enacted by Chapter 405 of the Acts of 1908, entitled
'Baltimore County, ' sub-title 'Police and Police Stations, '

by adding thereto two additional sections to be known as
6Sections 295-A and 295-B, ' to require a permit in writing
from the Comity Commissioners of Baltimore county for the
erection, establishment, conduct or maintainance of every
prison farm, prison workshop or place for the detention and
labor of convicts in Baltimore county and to designate in what
part or parts of Baltimore county prison farms, prison work-
shops or places for the detention and labor of convicts may be
erected, established, conducted or maintained, and to prohibit
the erection, establishment, conduct or maintenance of any
such prison farm, prison workshop or place for the detention
and labor of convicts without such permit being first had and
obtained. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred
to Senators Allen, Norris and Archer. ]

Also House Bill No. 218, entitled "An Act to repeal Sections
217, 218, 219, 220 and 221 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of the Public General Laws, entitled 'Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-titled 'Gaming; ' also to repeal Section 275 of
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title 'Anne Arundel County, ' sub-title 'Gaming, ' as the same
was enacted by Chapter 290 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1898; and also to repeal Chapter 77 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1912; and also
to repeal Chapter 132 of the Acts of the General Assembly
