preparation of a Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick

and referred to Senators Kaufman, Bomberger and Warfield. ]
Also House Bill No. 890, entitled "An Act authorizing and
directing the County Commissioners of Montgomery county to
issue bonds to an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dol-
lars ($ 15, 000) for the purpose of building, improving and
relocating the public road from the end of the improved road
at Old Germantown to the State road near Seneca Creek by
the way of the new road through the lands of James H. Jones,
in said Montgomery county, provided that certain donations
be made, as hereinafter provided, to the said County Com-
missioners to be applied by them for the purposes herein;
and to collect and levy taxes in the Sixth Election District
of said county for the payment of said bonds and interest
coupons thereon. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Jones, Johnson, and Holmead. ]
Also House Bill No. 179, entitled "An Act to repeal part of
Section 1 of Chapter 428 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed in the year 1914, and to re-enact the
same with amendments. " [Endorsed: ''Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first
time and referred to the City Senators. ]
Also House Bill No. 80, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, thereto Section 33-A of Chapter 641
of the Acts of 1914, title 'Surveyor and State Survey, ' sub-title
'Public Roads, ' the object of this Bill being to eliminate two
members of the State Roads Commission so that, after the
passage of this Act the said State Roads Commission shall con-
sist of only three members. ' [Endorsed: ''Read the third
time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Roads and High-
ways. ]
Also House Bill No. 691, entitled "An Act to add a new sec-
tion to Article 81 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland (Bagby's Annotated Code of 1911), title 'Revenue
and Taxes, ' sub-title 'Mode and Measure of Taxation, ' to fol-
low immediately after Section 204 of said Article and be
known as Section 204-a; said new section relating to the levy-
ing of an additional assessment against the seller of real
or leasehold property in all cases when such property is
