tax rate on land and for uniform tax rates respectively on
such classifications or sub-classifications of improvements on
land or personal property, as the Mayor and City Council
may subject to the tax levy for local purposes, on and after
the year 1922, or after the expenditure of all annex loans
heretofore and herein authorized to be issued; to empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue the stock of
said corporation to an amount not exceeding four million dol-
lars ($4, 000, 000) for the purpose of making certain public
improvements within the territory to be annexed by this Act;
and to provide for the submission of an ordinance to this
effect to the qualified voters of Baltimore city and the terri-
tory to be annexed under the provisions of this Act. "

Senate Bill No. 48, entitled "An Act to authorize the use
of numbered marbles, or balls, instead of written ballots, in
drawing jurors in the First Judicial Circuit. "

Senate Bill No. 49, entitled "An Act to legalize the Code
of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, comprising
sections from 1 to 613, inclusive, compiled by T. Scott Offutt,
Esq., and to make it evidence of the law and to authorize
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county to have the
same printed in such numbers as they deem proper and to
sell the same. "

At 8. 50 o'clock P. M., on motion of Mr. Cooper, the Senate
adjourned until Tuesday, January 25, at 12 o'clock noon.
