ANNAPOLIS, Monday, January 24, 1916.

The Senate met at 8 o'clock P. M.

Prayer by Rev. H. P. Baker.

Present at roll call the following Senators:

The Journal of Friday, January 21, 1916, was read and

approved.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Bennett it was ordered that Mr. Har-
rison be excused from today's session on account of sickness.

On 'motion of Mr. Bomberger it was ordered that Mr. Joy
be excused from today's session on account of important
business.

On motion of Mr. Warfield it was ordered that Mr. Jones
be excused from today's session on account of important busi-
ness. .

On motion of Mr. Zihlman it was ordered that Mr. Speicher
be excused from today's session on account of important
business.

On motion of Mr. Legg it was ordered that Mr. Archer be
excused from today's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Kaufman it was ordered that Mr. Par-
sons be excused from today's session on account of important
business.
