strike out the following: 'approved by the State superintend-
ent of schools, ' "

No. 25—"On page 23, commencing on line 20, strike out the
following: 'the salary of the county superintendent of schools
shall not be diminished during his term of office. '"

No. 26—"On page 24, Section 72-B, line 15 of the printed
Bill, after the word 'writing, ' strike out the period and in
lieu thereof insert a semicolon, and add the following: 'pro-
vided an appeal to Court may be taken for a hearing de
novo. '"

No. 27—"On page 24, Section 72-C, commencing on line 7,
strike out the following: 'subject to the provisions of Sec-
tion 20 of this Article. ' "

No. 28—"On page 25, Section 72-E, line 6 of the printed

'in the absence of a reasonable excuse. ' "

Amendment proposed by Mr. Bomberger: "On page 53, at
the end of Section 127 of the printed Bill, strike out the period
and insert the following: 'provided that this provision shall
not affect the right of schools on the approved list at the date
of the passage of this Act to receive State aid. ' "
