Also a petition of Carter, Webster & Company, Baltimore,
Maryland, in favor of the passage of House Bills Nos. 330
and 331, known as the Bulk Sales Law and False Statement
Act. [Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceedings. ]

Also a petition of the Permanent Board of Baltimore Yearly
Meeting of Friends, by John N. Parker, Clerk of the Perma-
nent Board, in favor of the passage of the pending Bill to
abolish gambling at race tracks in the State of Maryland.
[Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings. ']

Also a petition of the Hygienic Association of Ice Cream
Manufacturers of Baltimore city, Maryland Association of
Ice Cream Manufacturers, Baltimore Confectioners Associa-
tion and the Potomac States Master Bakers' Association, in
favor of the passage of Senate Bill No. 640 and House Bill
No. 853, to regulate the manufacture, sale, etc., of medicinal,,
pharmaceutical, scientific, sacramental, mechanical, culinary
or toilet preparations. [Which was read and referred to the
Committee on Temperance. ']

Also a petition of the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, the
Baltimore Clearing House, the Association of Fire Under-
writers, the Lumber Exchange, the Credit Men's Association,
the Old Town Merchants and Manufacturers Association, the
Board of Trade of Baltimore, B. Howell Griswold, Jr., Henry
M. Warfield, H. Findlay French, in favor of the passage of the
Furst-Field Annexation Bill. [Which was read and referred
to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also a petition of Colonel Harry C. Jones, in behalf of fifty
officers and six hundred men of the Fourth Regiment pro-
testing against the action of the Joint Committee, and in
favor of an appropriation for the new Fourth Regiment
Armory. [Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance. ]

Also a petition of Phillips Brothers & Company, wholesale
dry goods, Hanover and German streets, Baltimore, Mary-
land, in favor of the passage of House Bills Nos. 330 and 331,
known as the Bulk Sales Law and False Statement Act.
[Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings. ]

Also a petition of Jacob Feldman, Murray Feldman and S.
Feldman, 2109 Callow avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, in favor
of the passage of Senate Bill No. 206, which provides for the
