Whereupon Mr. Duvall moved that the Bill be indefinitely
postponed. [Which motion was withdrawn. ]

Mr. Duvall then moved to recommit the Rill to Committee
on Judicial Proceedings. Which motion was lost by yeas and
nays as follows:

No. 1—"Strike out all after the word 'Hamilton, ' in line 16
of Section 1 of the printed Bill, down to and including the
word 'road, ' in line 58 of said Section 1, and in lieu thereof
insert the following: 'thence northwesterly in a straight line
to a point on the center line of the York road, distant 600
feet northerly from the intersection formed by the said center
line of the York road and the center line of Walker avenue;
thence westerly by a straight line to the point of intersection
formed by the center line of Park Heights avenue and the
center line of Slade avenue; thence southerly by a straight
line to the point of intersection formed by the center line
of Edmondson avenue and the center line of the Old Frederick
road; said intersection being about one-third. of a mile went
of Cooks lane. "

Amendment proposed by Mr. Ogden to Amendment No. 1
so as to read: "thence northerly in a straight line to intersect
a line drawn due east and west from the intersection formed
by the said center line of the York road, and the center line
of Walker avenue, " in place of the words beginning with
