Also House Bill No. 411, entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, as the same was amended and re-enacted by Chapter 123
of the Acts of 1898, title 'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Police
Commissioners, ' the said new section to come under the said
sub-title and to follow immediately after Section 746 of the
said Article and to be known and designated as Section 746-A,
the said new section providing for the appointment of an ad-
ditional officer to be known as Assistant Secretary to the
Marshal of Police. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time
and referred to the City Senators. ]

Also House Bill No. 431, entitled "An Act to add six new
sections to Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Public Civil
Laws of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' to come in after
Section 119, to be numbered 119-A, 119-B, 119 C, 119-D, 119-E,
119-F, under the sub-title 'Tax on Commissions of Trustees,
Attorneys and Receivers. '" [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed l)y yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Also House Bill No. 446, entitled "An Act to propose an
amendment to Section 44, Part VII, of Article IV, title
'Sheriffs, ' of the Constitution of this State, making the in-
cumbent of the office of Sheriff in each county of the State
and in the City of Baltimore eligible for re-election, fixing the
term of office at four years and providing that the sheriff shall
give such bond, exercise such powers and perform such duties
in each county and in the City of Baltimore as now or may
hereafter be fixed by law; and to provide for the submission
of said amendment to the qualified voters of this State for
adoption or rejection. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Amendments to the Consti-
tution. ]

Also House Bill No. 450, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Sections 202 and 212 of Article £
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Baltimore
County, ' relating to justices of the peace and constables, as
enacted by Chapter 474 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed in the January Session, 1910. " [En-
