appropriation to the Maryland General Hospital, of Balti-

Also a petition of the Old Town Merchants and. Manufac-
turers Association, in favor of the establishment of a proper
agricultural college in Maryland to multiply the chances of
larger per acreage yields in Maryland and make farming at-
tractive and profitable to young men, and urging upon the
Assembly a liberal appropriation. [Which was read the first

Also a resolution of the Old Town Merchants and Manu-
facturers Association, in favor of the Maryland Agricultural
College in Maryland. [Which was read the first time and

Also a petition of the Old Town Merchants and Manufac-
turers Association against any legislation which increases
traders' license rates above the rates now imposed on mer-
chants carrying stocks up to f 40, 000 and that the present rates
be retained and that a proportionate and fair increase be
added to merchants carrying stocks from $40, 000 to $1, 000, 000.
