in favor of the appropriation to the Hebrew Orphan Asylum.

Also a petition of former Senator James Young of Balti-
more, in favor of a full appropriation for the Maryland In-
dustrial School for Girls. [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of Max Hochschild, a member of the Board
of Governors, in favor of an appropriation for the Hebrew
Orphan Asylum. [Which was read and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of F. A. Hyde, managing editor, Builders'
Weekly Guide, 1107 American Building, Baltimore, Md., pro-
testing against the passage of Senate Bill No. 499, introduced
