three-fourths of such part of said road and bridge taxes as may
be realized each year from the property within the limits of
the respective towns. Nothing herein contained shall be con-
strued to prevent the County Commissioners of Prince George's
county from levying in addition to the road and bridge fund
herein provided for, or from appropriating any sum or sums
of money necessary for the building of roads under any State-
aid road law now or hereafter in force in this State, but on
the contrary the said County Commissioners shall each year
ascertain from the State Roads Commission the yearly amount
assigned out of the current funds for that year to Prince
George's county from the State Treasurer under the State-aid
Road Act and they shall each year levy such amount as is
necessary to take up Prince George's county's share of said
allotment of said State-aid Fund and in addition the County
Commissioners may levy an amount sufficient to take up any
balance in said fund which may have accumulated from past
years and be available to Prince George's county, and it shall
be the duty of said County Commissioners to use the amount
of said levy to carry on as far as possible a scheme of con-
struction of ^State-aided roads in Prince George's county, and
all powers given the authorities of Prince George's county by
the General Laws of the State for the purpose of building
such roads are hereby especially confirmed and vested in the
Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's county.

'The Board of Road Directors, created by Chapter 90 of the
Acts on 1910, shall immediately upon the passage of this Act
pay over to the Board of County Commissioners all sums of
money on deposit to the credit of said Board of Road Directors
or in their hands or control individually or otherwise, which
are a part of the road and bridge funds received by said Board
of Road Directors from the County Commissioners or from the
Board of Liquor License Commissioners of Prince George's
county, and said Board of Road Directors and Board of
County Commissioners shall "pay over to the Board of County
Commissioners the amount on deposit to the joint credit of
the said Board of Directors and the Board of County Com-
missioners; said fund being known as "Redemption and In-
terest Account'' and "Equipment Fund, " and said Board of
Road Directors shall immediately after the passage of this
Act surrender to the Board of Road Directors hereby created
all personal property, equipment, machinery, etc., which has
been purchased by them or by the Road Engineer, mentioned
