danger of encroachment from any city, and make a report to
the next session of the General Assembly of Maryland with a
Bill in the form of an Act which will provide for perpetual
care, that will keep sacred, intact and beautiful, so long as
the State itself exists, a cemetery in which the original pur-
chasers of plots cannot be exhumed and thrust aside by sub-
sequent heirs to make room for later generations, and to
provide that it shall also be a cemetery for persons of moderate
circumstances to provide resting places for themselves and
their loved ones with no chance that their graves would ever
or could ever be desecrated so long as the commonwealth
existed. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 645, entitled "An Act to
add a new section to Article 73 of the Code of Public Civil
Laws of Maryland (Bagby's Edition), title 'Partnerships-
Limited, ' to be known as Section 23; providing the manner in
which the Adams Express Company or any other unincorpo-
rated stock company regularly doing business in this State
may be sued and the manner in which the process may be
served. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 646, entitled "An Act to
appropriate the sum of thirty thousand dollars ($30, 000) to
the County Commissioners of Carroll county for the purpose
of constructing and repairing a road in said county. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Finance. ]

By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 647, entitled "An Act
providing for the taxation of dogs in Carroll county, and
creating a fund for the furnishing of revenue for the use of
the public schools of said county. [Which was read the first
time and referred to Senators Warfield, Johnson and Jones. ]

By Mr. Bennett: Senate Bill No. 648, entitled "An Act to
add a new section to Article 33 of Bagby's Annotated Code
of Public Civil Laws, title 'Elections, ' sub-title 'Expenses—
Corrupt Practices, ' and to be known as Section 176-A. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Elections. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 649, entitled "An Act to
repeal Section 51 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title 'Talbot County, ' sub-title 'Easton, ' as
amended by Chapter 41 of the Acts of the General Assembly
