land (M. Jeanie Bryan, president), in favor of the Widow-
Mothers' Pension Law. [Which was read and referred to the
Committee of Finance. ]

Also a petition of the Glass Bottle Blowers' Association of the
United States and Canada, affiliated with the American Feder-
ation of Labor, Branch No. 9 (T. F. Brennan, president; Paul
Newkirk, secretary), in favor of the constitutional amend-
ment now before the General Assembly to provide for the
initiative. [Which was read and referred to the Committee
on Amendments to the Constitution. ]

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Kaufman: Senate Bill No. 642, entitled "An Act to
authorize and empower St. Mary's Female Orphan Asylum of
Baltimore, Maryland, to act as administrator with the will
annexed, to the same extent as a private individual is author-
ized to act, in all cases when said orphan asylum is designated
as a residuary legatee in any will executed prior to the pas-
sage of this Act and the executor named in any such will
shall have died prior to the death of the testator. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings. ']

By Mr. Mudd: Senate Bill No. 643, entitled "An Act to
amend Article 88-A of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public
General Laws, title 'State Aid and Charities, ' by adding thereto
seven sections, to follow Section 14 thereof and to be known
respectively as Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, and
under the sub title 'State Aid to Charitable and Beneficent In-
stitutions and Agencies, '" [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Mr. Speicher moved that the vote be reconsidered by which
