River and to drain the swamp lands along the upper portion
of said river in said two counties and to appoint a commis-
sion to supervise said work and to levy a sum of money upon
the swamp lands and lands drained in each of said counties
to pay for the drainage of the same. " [Endorsed: "Read the

Also House Bill No. 542, entitled "An Act to sanction the
holding by the Lutheran and Reformed Congregations of
Utica, in Frederick county, Maryland, of certain ground for
burial purposes, known as the Utica Cemetery, and to pro-
vide for the care and management of said Utica Cemetery. "

Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company to place and main-
