authorize and empower the Commissioners of St. Michaels to
erect, construct, equip, maintain and operate an electric light
and power plant, for the purpose of lighting the streets, ave-
nues, lanes, alleys, squares and ways of the town of St.
Michaels and vicinity, and for other municipal purposes; and
for supplying light, heat and power to the citizens of St.
Michaels and vicinity, and to borrow on the faith and credit of
said town eight thousand dollars ($8, 000), and to issue notes,
or bonds, or other evidences of indebtedness therefor, and to
provide for the payment of the same with interest thereon. "

By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 632, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 253-A of Arti-
cle 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Anne Arundel
County, ' sub-title 'Wild Fowl, ' as amended by Chapter 369
of the Acts of 1906, and shortening the season for shooting
wild fowl upon the waters of Anne Arundel county. " [Which

Fish and Game. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 633, entitled "An Act to
add a new section to Article 46 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland of 1912, title 'Inheritance, ' sub-title
'Descents, ' said new section to come in immediately after
Section 29 and to be known as Section 29-A, and providing
that the children of void or voidable marriages shall be legiti-
mate. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 634, entitled "An Act fixing
and defining the powers of the several Circuit Courts for the
counties of this State, and of the Criminal Court of Balti-
more city, with reference to persons responsible for or di-
rectly promoting or contributing to the conditions that render
a child a minor without proper care or guardianship, and
providing how such powers shall be executed, and conferring
concurrent jurisdiction upon the magistrate for juvenile cases
in the City of Baltimore in such cases. " [Which was read
