Mr. Duvall submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 19, 1916.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message proposing the appointment
of a Joint Special Committee of five—three on the part of the
House and two on the part of the Senate—to report upon the
claims and necessities of St. John's College, Annapolis, Mary-
land, in accordance with Resolution No. 41 of the General
Assembly of 1832, and we concur therein.

We have named on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Duvall
and Mudd.

nays. ]

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

Senate Bill No. 21, entitled "An Act to authorize and direct
the State Roads Commission of Maryland to build and main-
tain a bridge from the mainland to Ocean City across Sine-
puxent Bay in Worcester county, and to make an appropria-
tion therefor. "

mittee on finance. ]

Senate Bill No. 22, entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the sale,
