By Mr. Speicher:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter 601 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1914, entitled 'An
Act to provide for a license tax on dogs to create a fund to
protect the sheep industry in Garrett county. '"

[Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Speichery Zihlman and Warfield. ]

Also a Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 4 of Chapter 34 of the Acts of 1914, en-
titled 'An Act to enable the registered qualified voters of
Garrett county to determine by ballot whether spirituous
or fermented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall
be sold only as hereinafter described, and to repeal all Acts
or parts of Acts inconsistent with this Act, or any part
of this Act. '"

Speicher y Zihlman and Warfield. ]

Also a Bill entitled "An Act to enable the registered and
qualified voters of the State of Maryland to determine by
ballot whether or not the sale, manufacture for sale and trans-
portation for sale of alcoholic, spirituous, vinous, malt and in-
toxicating liquors for beverage purposes shall be forever pro-
hibited in the State of Maryland from and after May first, one
thousand nine hundred and eighteen; providing for the sub-
mission of such question to the voters of the State and de-
claring the effect of such election. "

mittee on Temperance. ]

By Mr. Harrison:

A Bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction and consent
of the General Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts and be-
quests contained in the last wills and testaments of certain
persons late of the State of Maryland, deceased, to and for the
