SUBJECT: EXEMPT TALBOT COUNTY FROM "EAST-
ERN SHORE GALLON-A-MONTH" LAW.
Amendments proposed by Committee:
"Amend the title by striking out the words 'Talbot County7
at the end of the title, and inserting in lieu thereof the words
'shipment of such liquors to or for bona fide residents or tax-
payers of Talbot county and Queen Anne's county. '"
"Amend line 4, page 2 of the Bill, by striking out the words
'in so far as it pertains or relates to Talbot county, ' and in-
serting in lieu thereof the following: 'To the extent that the
same prohibits the shipment, transportation, ' delivery, carry-
ing, bringing, handling and distributing into, or in Talbot
county of spirituous, vinous, fermented, malt or intoxicating
liquors to or for any corporations, firms, clubs, associations or
individuals, who or which are bona fide residents or tax-
payers of Talbot county and Queen Anne's county, it being the
intent of this Act that the same shall be as lawful as if the
said Act of 1914, Chapter 831, had never been passed, but it
being also the intent of this Act that the provisions and penal-
ties of the said Act of 1914, Chapter 831, shall continue in
full force and effect with respect to the shipment, transporta-
tion, delivery, carrying, bringing, handling and distributing
of such liquors into or in Talbot county and Queen Anne's
county, to or for any corporations, firms, clubs, associations
or individuals, who or which are not bona fide residents or
taxpayers of Talbot county and Queen Anne's county. '"
