SENATE BILL No. 252, BY MR. WARFIELD.
SUBJECT: MOTOR VEHICLES.

Amendments proposed by Committee on Finance:

No; 1—"To amend Section 141 on pages 12 and 13 of the
printed Bill, by striking out all of lines 57 to 62, inclusive,
and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

'Class B. Six dollars ($6) for each motor vehicle equipped
with solid tires and having a rated carrying capacity of not
more than one ton, and four dollars ($4) additional for each
additional ton of carrying capacity or fraction thereof.

'Five dollars ($5) for each vehicle trailed or propelled by
any motor vehicle. ' " [Which was read and rejected. ]

No. 2—"To amend Section 162 on page 32 of the printed
Bill by inserting at the end of line 14 the following:

'No fee to be taxed or charged for the service of the warrant
in any such case. '" [Which was read and rejected. ]

Amendments proposed by Mr. Norris:

"On page 13 of the printed Bill, strike out lines 79, 80, 81,
82 and 83 and insert in lieu thereof, 'The charges herein
prescribed shall be for the entire twelve months of the year,
and if the certificate is issued in any month after January,
one-twelfth is to be deducted from each of the charges above
stated for each expired month, but not fractions of a month. '"

drawn. ]

"On page 25 of the printed Bill, on line 9, after the word
'convicted' place a comma, and insert 'of a greater speed than
thirty-five miles an hour. '" [Which was read and withdrawn. ]

"On page 14 of the printed Bill, on line 30, strike out 'quar-
terly' and insert 'monthly. '" [Which was read and with-
drawn. ]
