protect the dignity and honor of the uniform of the United
States and of the Maryland State Militia, or Maryland Na-
tional Guard, and to prohibit discrimination against those

ferred to the Committee on Militia. ]
By Mr. Johnson: Senate Bill No. 531, entitled "An Act to
provide for a uniform period for the payment of State taxes,
imposing duties in respect thereto upon collectors of State
taxes, the County Commissioners of the several counties and
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to repeal all
Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Holmead: Senate Bill No. 532, entitled "An Act
authorizing and directing the Board of County Commissioners
of Prince George's county to levy and pay the sum of two
hundred and thirty-five dollars and thirteen cents ($235. 13)
to James B. Allison for a liquor license issued to him by the
Board of Liquor License Commissioners for said county for
the period from October 4, 1910, to May 1, 1911. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Holmead,
Johnson and Jones. ]

tions; " to repeal Section 50 of said Article 81 of said Code,
title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title "Collectors and Collec-
tions, " and to also repeal Section 72 of said Article 81 of said
Code, title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title "Taxes when Due. "
