PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND

The President submitted a petition of Emory C. Remsberg,
Buckeystown, Maryland, and fifty others in favor of an appro-
priation of three million five hundred thousand dollars to com-
plete the original State road plan. [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ']

Also a petition of the Lincoln (Maryland) Citizens' Associ-
ation (D. P. Seaton, president; C. Johnson, secretary) in favor
of House Bill No. 305, to authorize and direct the State Roads
Commission to construct an improved modern road from Camp
Parole to Bladensburg along the lines of the Old Stage road.
