SENATE BILL No. 392, BY MR. COOPER.
SUBJECT: CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS.

With amendments as printed in the Senate Journal of
March 9. [Which amendments were read and adopted. ]
[Which favorable report was adopted, which was read the

second time and ordered printed for a third reading. ]

Also laid-over Bill, with amendments, being
SENATE BILL No. 326, BY MR. OGDEN.
SUBJECT: LICENSES—MOTOR VEHICLES—ROAD
TRAFFIC.

With amendments as printed in the Senate Journal of
March 9? 1916.

Amendment proposed by Mr. Williams: "On page 5 of the
printed Bill, in line 136, strike out after the word 'provided'
all down to and including the word 'rear. ' "

Substitute amendment proposed by Mr. Norris: "On page 5,
line No. 137, after the word 'vehicles, ' and before the word
*not, ' insert 'when within 15 miles of a city of 20, 000 inhabi-
tants or over, must be displayed. " [Which was read and re-
jected. ]

Whereupon the question then recurring upon the amend-
ment proposed by Mr. Williams, it was read and rejected by
yeas and nays as follows:
