Mr. Shepherd submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 11, 1916.
Gentlemen of the Rouse of Delegates:

We respectfully invite you to be present in the Senate
Chamber at 12 o'clock noon, January 12, 1916, to participate
with us in the inauguration of the Governor-elect, and to wit-
ness the administration of the oath to him by the Chief Judge
of the Court of Appeals, in compliance with the requirements
of the Constitution of the laws of the State. We will appoint
a committee to await on your Honorable Body and conduct
you to the Senate Chamber.

Mr. Cooper submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 11, 1916.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
that when the General Assembly adjourns tonight it stand
adjourned until tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12, 1916, at
11* o'clock A. M.

By Senator Cooper:

It is moved that a committee of five (5) Senators be named
to escort the Judge of the Court of Appeals to the Senate
Chamber on Wednesday, January 12, 1916, at 12 o'clock M.

The President appoints the following: Senators Ogden,
Archer, Frick, Mudd and Bomberger.
