SUBJECT: EASTON TOWN HALL COMPANY—TAL-
BOT COUNTY.

Amendments proposed by the House of Delegates:
No. 1—"Amend the title of said Bill by adding in the last
line after the word 'years, ' the following: 'And to provide
for the submission of the question as to whether or not said
purchase and the borrowing of said sum of money shall be
done, to the qualified voters of the town of Easton at the
election to be held in said town in the month of May, 1917. ' "
No. 2—"Amend Section 2, line 10 of the printed Bill, by
adding thereto, after the words 'per annum, ' 'provided such
loan be approved by a majority of the qualified voters of the
town of Easton voting upon the question at the election to be
held in the town of Easton in the month of May, 1917. The
election officials of said town shall place on the ballot to be
voted at such election, the proposition or plan to borrow
upon the credit of the town of Easton in the name of the
Mayor and Council of Easton, the sum of six thousand
($6, 000) dollars for the purposes mentioned herein; and they
shall provide on the ballot to be voted at such election a space
in which shall be printed in uniform type the words 'For the
Loan, ' and another space in which shall be printed in like form
the words 'Against the Loan, ' and the ballot shall be so ar-
ranged as to give the voter a clear and single method of cast-
ing his vote either for or against the proposed loan, accord-
ing to the election laws in force in said town of Easton; and
if the majority of the votes cast at said election shall be in
favor of said town,, then the Mayor and Council of Easton
