PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND

The President submitted a petition of the Woman's Club of
Roland Park (Mary F. Strasser, corresponding secretary) in
favor of the passage of Mandatory State-wide Compulsory
Education Bill. [Which was read and referred to the Com-
mittee on Education. ]

Also a petition of the West North Avenue Saving and Loan
Association (Herman Loock, president) against Senate Bill
No. 375, introduced by Senator Johnson, relative to tax on
capital of building and loan associations. [Which was read
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
