INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 413, entitled "An Act to
appropriate the sum of six thousand one hundred and ninety-
five ($6, 195) dollars for the payment of certain condemna-
tion awards made to the holders of oyster leases for the
areas or lots which are the subjects of condemnation proceed-
ings taken in the Circuit Court for Calvert county, and tried
at the January (1916) term of said Court, under the pro-
visions of Section 96-C of Article 72 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, title 'Oysters, ' sub-title 'Oyster Culture. '"
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]
By the President: Senate Bill No. 414, entitled "An Act
to assist in the organization of a high school cadet corps of
not more than one thousand boys in the State of Maryland
by an appropriation to supply aforesaid organization with
uniforms. " [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Finance. ]
By Mr. Legg: Senate Bill No. 415, entitled "An Act to add
a new section to Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (Bagby's), title 'Fish and Fisheries, ' to be known as
Section 123, to prohibit driving fish into thresh nets or other
contrivances. " [Which was read the first time and referred
to the Committee on Fish and Game. ]
By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 416, entitled "An Act to
repeal Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws' of Mary-
land, title 'Harford County, ' and the several Acts and parts of
Acts amendatory thereof or inconsistent therewith, and to
re-enact said Article 13, with amendments, under appropriate
sub-titles. " [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
