PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

The President submitted a petition of the National Safety
First Association in favor of the safeguarding of railway
traffic by the introduction of the wayside block signal plan
and in favor of the apparatus known as the "Automatic
Train-Stop Apparatus" and its methods of application. [Which
was read and referred to the Committee on Corporations. ]
