By Mr. Bennett: Senate Bill No. 365, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact Section 16 of Chapter 14 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1904, entitled
'An Act. to repeal Chapter 76 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1902, entitled "An Act
to repeal Sections 94 to 112 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Wicomico County, ' sub-
title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' as repealed, amended and re-enacted
by Chapter 398 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, Session of 1894, providing for the collection of taxes
in Wicomico county and election of treasurer, and to re-enact
same with amendments, " and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, ' " [Which was read the first time and referred to
Senators Bennett, Parsons and Harrison. ]

granting Baltimore Lodge No. 7, Benevolent and Protective
Order of Elks, the privilege of using the Fifth Regiment
Armory. " [Which was read the first time and referred to

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 367, entitled "An Act to
repeal Section 28 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, title Wild Fowl—Birds and Game, ' in so far as
the same prohibits shooting, catching, killing or having in
possession, alive or dead, any turkey buzzard, and to make
it lawful to shoot, catch, kill or in any manner destroy any
turkey buzzard. " [Which was read the first time and referred
to the Committee on Game and Fish. ]
By Mr. Johnson: Senate Bill No. 36g, entitled "An Act to
add six new sections to Article 81 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' to follow
Section 247, and to be known as Sections 248, 249, 250, 251,
252 and 253, providing for the appointment of assessors
throughout the counties of the State, their duties and com-
pensation; providing for a uniform plan of assessment
throughout the counties of the State, the duties of the County
Commissioners and the State Tax Commission, in regard
thereto. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]
