INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By the President: Senate Bill No. 295, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3 of Article
10 of the Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land, edited by George P. Bagby, regulating admission to the
Bar. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 296, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, all that part of Sec-
tion 8 of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1910, approved April 5, 1910, which -relates to
the disposition to be made of fees charged and collected by the
Public Service Commission. " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 297, entitled "An Act to
declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the bequest contained in the last will and testa-
ment of William W. Spence, late of Baltimore city, in the
State of Maryland, deceased, to and for the us6 and benefit
of the Union Protestant Infirmary of Baltimore city, a cor-
poration duly incorporated under the laws of the State of
Maryland. " [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 298, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re enact, with amendments, Sections 258, 259, 264
and 265 of Article 43 of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Health- sub-title 'Optometry, ' Volume 3 of Bagby's An-
notated Code of Maryland. " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Sanitary Conditions of
State. ]
By Mr. Joy: Senate Bill No. 299, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter 395 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910, entitled 'An
Act to incorporate the town of North Beach, in Calvert county,
Maryland, ' and also Chapter 557 of the Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1912, amendatory to the first named
Act, and to re-enact the same with amendments, said amend-
ments prescribing the organization and limits of the town,
the qualifications of the officers and electors, the method of
electing and qualifying officers, the assessment of property
and collection of taxes, the manner of voting and issuing
bonds, and the general conduct of the affairs of the said town. "
