By the President: Petition of the Baltimore Preachers' Meet-
ing of the Methodist Episcopal Church, urging upon the Sen-
ate of Maryland the passage of the State-wide Prohibition Bill.
[Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temper-
ance. ]

Also a petition of the Park Approach Protective Association
of Baltimore city, favoring the passage of the Bill providing
for the right of initiative in our State Constitution. [Which
was read and referred to the Committee on Amendments to the
Constitution. ]
