Maryland to the bequest and devise contained in the last will
and testament of Robert A. Chapman, deceased, late of
Charles county, Maryland, to and for the use and benefit of
the Vestry of Saint John's Parish in Prince George's and
Charles counties, one of the Vestries of the Protestant Episco-
pal Church in the State of Maryland, a religious corporation. "

By Mr, Williams: Senate Bill No. 266, entitled "An Act to
authorize and empower the County Commissioners of Cecil
county to have the Public Local Laws of Maryland, relating
to Cecil county, codified and printed and to provide for the
payment of the same. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to Senators Williams, Archer and Allen. ]
By the President: Senate Bill No. 267, entitled "An Act to
refund to S. DeLeon Avery certain money paid to the clerk
of the Criminal Court of Baltimore city and to the clerk of
the Court of Appeals as costs in prosecuting an appeal from
a judgment of the Criminal Court of Baltimore city, at the
suit of the State of Maryland. " [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 268, entitled "An Act to
authorize the County Commissioners of Talbot county to is-
sue coupon bonds of said county to the amount of seventy
thousand ($70, 000) dollars, for the purpose of providing money
to pay for the construction of bridges already built, for bridges
now in process of construction or about to be constructed, and
for the construction of roads already built, for roads now in
process of construction or about to be constructed in said coun-
ty, and repairs to same, and to levy a tax for the payment of
said bonds and the interest thereon. " [Which was read the
first time and referred to Senators Collier, Leg g and Cooper. ]
