President Campbell submitted a petition of Mrs. Hartlove,
charwoman of the Southern Police Station of Baltimore city,
in favor of the increased-pay Bill for charwomen employed
in the several police station-houses of Baltimore city. [Which
was read and referred to the Committee on City Senators. ]

By the President, by request: Petition of William H. Brown,
a taxpayer in Anne Arundel county, living in the village of
Camp Parole, asking for police protection and better lighting
facilities. [Which was read and referred to Senator Duvall. ']
