By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 208, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to con-
struct a highway in Cecil county between the town of Cecil-
ton and the Delaware line. " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ']

By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 209, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to construct
a highway in Carroll, county, between the corporate limits of
the City of Westminster and the town of New Windsor, and
to make an appropriation therefor. " [Which was read the
first time and referred, to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Allen: Senate Bill No. 210, entitled "An Act to
authorize, empower and direct the State Roads Commission
of Maryland to complete the construction of the Baltimore
and Liberty Turnpike road, and to authorize an appropriation
by the State of seventy thousand dollars ($70, 000) for that
purpose. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Speicher, by request: Senate Bill No. 211, entitled
"An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3
of Article 49 of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Inter-
est and Usury. ' " [Which was read the first time and referred
to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 212, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Sections 236, 237, 239
and 240 of Article 81 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' sub-
title 'State Tax Commission, ' as enacted by Chapter 841 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland at its session of
1914; and to repeal Section 241 of said Article 81, as enacted
by said Chapter 841 of the Acts of 1914. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings. ]

By the President: Senate Bill No. 213, entitled "An Act
to declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland, to the grants, sales and deeds from William S.
Lucas, trustee, and Mary Gil tings, to Har Sinai Verein
Society of the City of Baltimore, from Har Sinai Verein
Society of the City of Baltimore, to Har Sinai Congregation,
and from George Brehm and Gertrude Brehm to Har Sinai
Congregation of the City of Baltimore. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings. ]
