repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 7 of Article

Board of, ' sub-title 'Sale of State's Interest in Works of In-
ternal Improvements or in Corporations. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Allen: Senate Bill No. 181, entitled "An Act to de-
clare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the sale, grant and deed of a certain lot of ground
and the improvements thereon, in the Ninth Election District
of Baltimore county, from Amelia Struven and Albert G.
Struven, her husband, to the trustees of Grace Baptist Church
of Baltimore city, 'a body corporate, said deed bearing date
July 8, 1914, and recorded among the Land Records of Balti-
more county, in Liber W. P. C. No. 431, folio 399, etc. '"
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 182, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 160-B of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the year 1912,
Chapter 134, entitled 'Elections, ' sub title 'Primary Elections, '

so as to change the time for holding primary elections through-
out the State of Maryland. " [Which was read the first time '
and referred to the Committee on Elections. ]

By Mr. Johnson: Senate Bill No. 183, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 523 to 539, inclusive, of Article 27 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland, title 'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-

title 'III. Places of Reformation and Punishments, ' sub-
head 'House of Correction, ' and all sections under said sub-
head 'House of Correction, ' as the same now stand; and to
repeal Sections 623 to 675, inclusive, and Sections 677 to 727,
inclusive, of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title 'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-title 'III—Places of Ref-
ormation and Punishment, ' sub-head 'State Penitentiary, ' and
all sections under said sub-head 'State Penitentiary, ' as the
