date of its passage. [Which was read and adopted. ] [Which
favorable report was adopted, which was read the second time

and ordered printed for a third reading. ]

The President distributed the, following message from the
House of Delegates, being

SENATE BILL No. 7, BY MR. SPEICHER.
SUBJECT: DOGS—GARRETT COUNTY.

[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
. nays"]

Also House Bill No. 6, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 632 of Article 4 of the Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, entitled 'City of Baltimore, ' sub-
title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables, ' as the same was
re-enacted, with amendments, by Chapter 777 of the Acts of
Assembly of the year 1912. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also House Bill No. 47, entitled "An Act to authorize the
Trustees of the Poor of Charles county, Maryland, to sell a
tract of land called and known as 'The Almshouse Tract, ' be-
longing to the said Trustees of the Poor of Charles county,
Maryland, and to convey the same by a legal and sufficient
deed to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, and to pay over
the proceeds arising from the said sale, after defraying the
expense of said sale, to the County Commissioners of Charles
county, Maryland, who shall use the same in defraying the
expenses of building a new county jail at La Plata, Maryland. "
[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred to
Senators Mudd, Holmead and Chesley. ]

Also House Bill No. 65, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 2 of Chapter 450 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its
session of 1896, title 'Garrett County, ' sub-title 'Loch Lynn
Heights. ' " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Speicher, Zihlman and Bomberger. ]

Also House Bill No. 76, entitled "An Act to protect deer
in Garrett county, Maryland, and to provide penalties for the
violation of the same. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
^and referred to Senators Speicher, Zihlman and Bomberger. ]
