By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 138, entitled "An Act to
provide for transcribing general indexes in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cecil county. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

The President distributed the following message from the
House of Delegates: House Bill No. 15, entitled "An Act to
authorize the Board of County School Commissioners of Anne
Arundel county to borrow money on the credit of Anne Arun-
del county to erect, heat and furnish a public school building
near Shipley Station and Linthicum Heights, in Anne Arundel
county, Maryland, and appointing a building committee. "
[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas mid
nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred to Sena-
tors Duvall, Ogden and Johnson. ]
