WHEREAS, Due notice of this resolution has been given; and
WHEREAS, It is rumored that one or more Bills will be
offered during this session to annex a portion of Anne Arun-
del county to the City of Baltimore; and
WHEREAS, It is only just and proper that the Senator from
Anne Arundel county should be a member of the Committee
to which Bills proposing annexation to the city are referred,
in order that he may become familiar with the reasons ad-
vanced for city extension; therefore, be it
Resolved, That the name of Senator Duvall, of Anne Arun-
del county, be added to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, who, as a member thereof, shall be entitled to partici-
pate in all deliberations on the question of annexation of
additions to Baltimore city and to vote on all such questions.

By Mr. Norris: Ordered, That all annexation Bills relating
to territory contiguous to Baltimore city be referred to a com-
mittee on annexation of eleven Senators, to be appointed by
the President, of which the present Committee on Judicial
Proceedings shall constitute a part of said committee of
eleven. [Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Rules. ]
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Jones: Senate Bill No. 116, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 477 of Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Mont-.
gomery County, ' sub-title 'Roads, ' as contained in Chapter
790 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1912, so as to pro-
hibit obstructions being placed on any public road and high-
way within said county, and to provide penalties therefor. "

By Mr. Brown: Senate Bill No. 117, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to construct
a highway in Kent county, between Still Pond Station and
