To the Honorable the General Assembly of Maryland:

In compliance with the requirements of Chapter 57 of the
Acts of 1914, the Maryland Historical Society respectfully
submits the following report of the progress of the work com-
mitted to it of publishing the archives of the State, and of
its receipts and disbursements under the said Act.

Of the sum of $4, 000 appropriated by the Act referred to,
the sum $1, 500 only has been received by the Society, leaving
the sum $2, 500 now due to it of the appropriation made in
