ANNAPOLIS, Monday, January 31, 1916.

The Senate met at 8. 30 o'clock P. M.
Prayer by Rev. H. P. Baker.

approved.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Zihlman it was ordered that Mr. Bom-
berger be excused from tonight's session on account of im-
portant business.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By the President:

Senate Bill No. 77, entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the deed
from Margaret Kenney to the Most Reverend James Cardinal
Gibbons, Roman Catholic Archbishop of, Baltimore, for the
time being, and his successors in the Archepiscopal See of
Baltimore, according to the discipline and government of the
Roman Catholic Church, a corporation sole, of a certain lot
of ground in Baltimore city. "

Senate Bill No. 78, entitled "An Act to provide for the
further publication of the archives of Maryland. "
