1264 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apr. 3

By Mr. Shepherd: Ordered, That the Committee on Claims
pay to Governor of this State, the sum of nine hundred and
six and one-half dollars, being in full for the expenses of clean-
ing the halls, committee rooms, corridors, etc., of the State
House during the session of the General Assembly of 1916, as
supervised by the Superintendent of Public Buildings and
as ordered by the Legislature.

Two-thirds of all the Senators voting in the affirmative,
the rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows:
Messrs. — AFFIRMATIVE.
