for expenses incident to special indexing, twenty-five hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, and the fur-
ther sum of one thousand dollars for binding, as provided by
Chapter 261 of the Acts of 1902; for the printing of the Mary-
land reports, as provided in Section 3 of Article 80 of the An-
notated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, twelve hun-,
dred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for pub-
lishing the Maryland Manual, as provided in Sections 6 to 9,
inclusive, of Article 85 of the Annotated Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, the sum of twelve hundred dollars, or
so much thereof as may be necessary; for pension to Jesse G.
Dwyer, as provided by Chapter 448 of the Acts of 1912, two
hundred dollars; for printing records and briefs in State cases,
the sum of five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, to be paid by the Treasurer upon proper vouchers pre-
sented to him by the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, as pro-
vided by Section 44 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland; for the rent of State offices
in the City of Baltimore, as provided by Chapter 330 of the
Acts of 1912, fifteen thousand dollars; for the rent of safe de-
posit boxes for the use Of the Treasury Department, nine hun-
dred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for in-
surance on public-buildings and personal property of the State,
the sum of twenty thousand dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary; to the Attorney General, for the printing
of election laws, as provided in Section 122 of Article 33 of
the Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
the sum of one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary for the payment of the annual ground rent on the
tobacco warehouse lots in Baltimore city, four hundred and
forty-eight dollars and eleven cents, the same to be paid out
of the tobacco inspection fund; to meet the deficiency in print-
ing for the General Assembly of 1916, to be paid under from
the Board of Public Works in accordance with Section 1
of Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws,
the sum of two thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary; for the expenses incident to telephone service dur-
ing the session of the General Assembly of 1916, the sum of
fifteen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary, to be paid under the direction of the Executive; the sum
of twenty thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, to be used in installing new boilers and making
other necessary repairs to the, Iceboat "Annapolis, " and the
Harbor Board of Baltimore city is hereby authorized to install
said new boilers and make such other necessary repairs, the
