HOUSE BILL No. 819, BY MR. LEE.

SUBJECT: BALTIMORE TRANSIT AND TERMINAL
COMPANY.

Amendments proposed by Committee:

No. 1 "After the word 'that, 7 in line 1 of Section 3 of the
Bill, as printed for the third reading, insert the following:
'subject to the conditions, reservations and provisions in Sec-
tion 10 of this Act. ' " [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 2—"Strike out all after the word 'Article, ' in line 11
of Section 5 of the Bill, as printed for the third reading,
down to and including the figures <23? in line 14 of Section
5 of said printed Bill, and in lieu thereof insert the following:
<33-A of Bagby's Code, titled "Eminent Domain" and the pro-
ceedings shall be as provided by said Article 33-A. '" [Which
was read and adopted. ]

. No. 3—"At the end of Section 10 of the Bill, as printed for
the third reading, insert the following: 'Provided, That noth-
ing in this Act shall be construed to authorize the construc-
tion of any railroad passing around the City of Baltimore,
but this Act is passed and accepted by the grantee upon the
distinct understanding that the grantee, its successors and
assigns shall have no power or authority to construct any
railroad except one passing through, over or under the City
of Baltimore, and further that the powers hereby granted
