SUBJECT: ROADS AND BRIDGES — CHARLES
COUNTY.
Amendment proposed by Mr. Mudd: "Amend House Bill
No. 880 by striking out all after the words 'a Bill' and insert
the following in lieu thereof: 'entitled An Act to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 160-c of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Charles County," sub-title
'Roads and Bridges,' as said section was enacted by Chapter
50 of the Acts of 1910, and amended by Chapter 7 of the Acts
of 1912.
'Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 160-c of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Charles County/ sub-title 'Roads and
Bridges,7 as said section was enacted by Chapter 50 of the
Acts of 1910, and amended by Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1912,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, so as to read as follows:
'Section 160-c. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Charles county shall at the time of making
the annual levy in said county for the years (1912) 1916,
1917, 1918 and 1919, levy upon the taxable property of the
said county, the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000),
and annually thereafter, levy upon the taxable property of the
