the working of male convicts of the State Penitentiary, jails
and other penal institutions in the State of Maryland on the
public roads and highways within any county of the State,
and to provide for the guarding, transportation, lodging, feed-
ing, medical attention, clothing and for the use of money for
the expense incurred by same. " [Endorsed: "Read the third

Also House Bill No. 668, entitled "An Act to add certain
additional sections to Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Washington County, ' to be sub-titled 'Pawnbrokers, '
to provide for regulating of the business of pawnbrokers in

Also House Bill No. 836, entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title 'Dorchester County, ' sub-title 'Fences, ' to come
after Section 165 and to be called Section 165-A. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Shepherd,
Collier and Harrison. ]
Also House Bill No. 506, entitled "An Act to create a sani-
tary district in Prince George's and Montgomery counties, con-
tiguous to the District of Columbia line; to provide for the
government thereof, for the health, water supply, drainage and
sewerage of said district; for the issuance of bonds for the
construction of water supply, sewerage and drainage systems
and for other purposes relating to said construction; to pro-
vide for a referendum in designated areas within said dis-
trict to the qualified voters of such areas on the question of
issuing bonds and to provide for the expenses of the government
of said district. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
