1916] OF THE SENATE. 1107

By Mr. Holmead: Ordered, That the members of the Com-
mittee on Printed or Engrossed Bills be paid the sum of two
hundred dollars ($200) each. [Which was read and referred
to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Duvall: Ordered, That Charles Kellert, Walter Ford
and Walter Kendall, telegraph operators, be paid the sum of
fifty dollars ($50), and Albert Wilk and Daniel Parkinson,
messengers, be paid the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25), for
extra services rendered the General Assembly of Maryland for
1916. [Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance. ']

By Mr. Duvall: Ordered, That J. T. McCarter be paid twenty
dollars ($20) for services rendered in Senate cloakroom,
[Which was, read and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Collier: Ordered by the Senate, That Mr. Louis
Warner, assistant secretary, be paid the sum of one hundred
and fifty, ($150) dollars for extra services performed for the
session of the Senate for 1916. [Which was read and referred
to the Committee on Finance. ]

Two-thirds of all the Senators voting in the affirmative, the
rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows:
