Also House Bill No. 900, entitled "An Act to amend the
charter of the Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore,
as incorporated by Chapter 276 of the Acts of Assembly,
passed at the January Session in the year 1858, Chapter 33 of
the Acts of Assembly of 1870, Chapter 152 of the Acts of As-
sembly of 1888, Chapter 408 of the Acts of Assembly of 1898
and Chapter 218 of the Acts of Assembly of 1902. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which
was. read the first time and referred to the Committee on In-
surance, Fidelity, Security and Loan Companies]

Also House Bill No. 870, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the town of Bowie, in Prince George's county, and for the sub-
mission of this charter to the qualified voters of said town for
their adoption or. rejection, and for the repeal of all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent herewith. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read
the first time and referred, to Senators Holmead, Johnson and
Jones]

Also House Joint Resolution No. 8, entitled "Joint resolu-
tion of the Senate and House of Delegates of Maryland re-
questing and directing the State Librarian to furnish the De-
partment of Legislative Reference of Baltimore copies of Bag-
by's Annotated Code of Maryland. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Library. ]

Also House Bill No. 587, entitled "An Act to confer addi-
tional powers upon the circuit courts for the several counties
of Maryland,, relating to children who are now or hereafter
become dependents, neglected or delinquents; to define such
terms and to provide for the treatment, protection, guardian-
ship and care of such children, and to prescribe the procedure
in such cases; to provide for the appointment of probation
officers and for the payment of their salaries and expenses;
to restrict and, under certain circumstances, take away the
jurisdiction of the justices of the peace for the several coun-
ties in such cases, and to prescribe the punishment for per-
