Also House Bill No. 851, entitled "An Act to authorize the
Board of Managers or governing body of Crownsville State
Hospital to purchase timber land or other farm land for the
purpose of enlarging the lands of said institution, for drain-
age purposes and for giving work to the inmates of said insti-
tution. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Finance. ]

Also House Bill No. 796, entitled "An Act to provide for the
employment of a certified public accountant by the County Com-
missioners of Worcester county, whose duty shall be to audit
and examine carefully the accounts, vouchers, books, papers
and proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners, Treas-
urer and tax collectors of Worcester county, and to publish
report of his findings. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to Senators Harrison, Cooper and Bennett. ]

Also House Bill No. 847, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 111-K of Chapter 300 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, entitled 'An
Act for the incorporation of the town of Friendsville, in Dis-
trict No. 2 of Garrett county, ' and for the amendment of
Article 12 of the Code of Public Laws of the State of Mary-
land, entitled 'Garrett County, ' by adding additional sections
thereto to be known as Sections 111-A, 111-B, 111-C, 111-C 1/2,
111-D, 111-E, 111-F, 111-F 1/2, 111-G, 111-H, 111-J, 111-K,
111-L, 111-M, 111-O, 111-P, 111-Q, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 111 of said Article 12 and to be known
by the sub-title 'Friendsville, ' and to exempt the town of
Friendsville, in District No. 2, in Garrett county, as herein
bounded and described, from the operations of the provisions;
of Chapter 77 of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An Act to prohibit
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer in
Election District No. 2 of Garrett county. ' " [Endorsed: "Read
the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was
read the first time and referred to Senators Speicher, Zihlman
and Bomberger. ]

Also House Bill No. 884, entitled "An Act to prohibit the
manufacture or sale of intoxicating liquors within the limits
of the election district otherwise known as Riverdale District
of Prince George's county, Maryland. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Temperance. ]
