1916] OF THE SENATE. 101

The Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 25, 1916.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message, proposing to proceed to
the election of a Treasurer of Maryland, in accordance with
the provisions of the Constitution of the State, on Tuesday,
January 25, 1916, at 2. 15 o'clock P. M., and the House of
Delegates concurs therein.

In the House, we have nominated Hon. Murray Vandiver,
Henry A. Osborne, Jr., and Robert F. Duer, as candidates.
We have appointed as tellers Messrs. McIntosh and Shartzer,
and also concur in your message, making the course of pro-
cedure the same as has been adopted by both Houses of the
General Assembly at the present session in regard to said
election.

THIRD READING.

The President laid before the Senate, Bills for a third read-
ing as follows:

Senate Bill No. 1, entitled "An Act authorizing the dis-
solution of the Sewerage Commission on February 1, 1916, and
providing for the completion of any work of said Commis-
sion not fully completed on that date. "

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays

as follows:
